We don't hold auditions, but some knowledge of music and an ability to read music is definitely an advantage.  Most important is a commitment to practice and regular attendance at our weekly rehearsals. If you'd like to give us a try, come along to a couple of rehearsals - no charge - and see if it's for you.  Our Autumn term starts on Tuesday 6th September at 7.30pm.

This short film, albeit recorded a few years ago, documents the collective effort of our concert day, from the arrival of the staging in the morning, afternoon rehearsal and performance of Schubert's E-flat Mass and Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, to the return of the church to its original state, ready for the Sunday morning service!  Just copy this link in to the bar of your search engine:  https://vimeo.com/leopardgecko/choralsociety

We stage two major concerts a year - Spring and Autumn - at St Mary's Church Hadleigh, along with a summer programme of lighter music and a celebration of Christmas.  For our full members' calendar, including term dates, go to:  Calendar

Rehearsals are held during term-time on Tuesday evenings, 7.30-9.30pm at The Ansell Centre, Market Place, Hadleigh, with an occasional Saturday morning rehearsal.
